Submission acceptance criteria

I know, it’s kind of a weird idea, but if I’m going to play editor for this thing, I’m going to subject submissions to some measure of judgment about what does or doesn’t fit with the intent of this thing in the first place. To that end, a few considerations:

  1. No hate speech. It’s intolerable to me, personally, so I won’t post it.
  2. Be funny or insightful or scathing or meta or whatever, but don’t be a needless jerk. Display self-respect.
  3. Please try to resist the urge to Photoshop the captions. They’re absurd enough as they are.
  4. Part of filtering submissions is pressing “delete.” If there are 5 different submissions for the same screen shot, the best will be published and the rest will be deleted. Occasionally, I may combine credits.
  5. There are no favorite submitters, only favorite submissions.
